Hockey Pitch Refurbishment : –
This was our second pitch refurbishment of the summer and second pitch that we have worked on for the school. It is on the back of a £1 million water based synthetic hockey facility that we finished two or three years ago.
This summer’s project was the refurbishment of an existing sand filled surface to create an FIH National sand dressed hockey facility. Sand dressed surfaces are the contemporary choice for modern hockey facilities.
It was completed on time and on budget and well within the school summer holiday calendar. It represents best practice and all the materials selected are deemed to be the best available in the industry for this purpose.
We assisted the college with procuring a suitable contractor with the necessary expertise and in-house capability to carry out the work. We are delighted that the school now has two top level hockey pitches and can host major hockey events in the future.
